Title: “Somatic evolutionary dynamics of cancer”

Question: How do rates of mutation, selective pressure, and spatial configuration of cells in tissues affect the development of cancer?

Quantitative Method: Graph theory and game theory.

Medical Impact: Understanding how cells evolve to cancer suggests new treatments and new ways to monitor existing treatments.
